Art Space – Carriageworks

The other day I visited the Biennale 2018 at Carriageworks in Sydney. Below you can see my take on the art space housing the exhibition.

The Rocks at Night

The Rocks is an urban locality, tourist precinct and historic area of Sydney’s city centre. It is immediately adjacent to Circular Quay on Sydney Cove, the site of Australia’s first European settlement in 1788.  On this side of Sydney Cove you find the Sydney Harbour Bridge while the Opera House is on the opposite side of the cove.

Looking Down – Beach

I am thinking of creating a series of blogs featuring things you can see when looking down.  This is my first attempt.

Looking down while walking on the beach.  Here are things I noticed.

the non-bushwalk

My wife and friends decided to go on a bushwalk today …

… while I went on a non-bushwalk. I saw busy bees …

… men fishing …

… men talking …

… people resting …

… or riding a bike …

… and then they returned and we drove home …

… the end.

The last milestone – the images are hung – the gallery is ready to welcome visitors

The last milestone before I can welcome visitors has been completed.  The images have been hung!  Tomorrow Tuesday, 27 May 2014 at 11 am the door will open to my first solo exhibition.
